i-MSCP 1.0.1.6 (Beta 6) Released

Gestern Abend ist die 6te Beta von i-MSCP erschienen. Mehr zum release und zum changelog gibt es auf es Projektseite.

i-MSCP mit SSL für den Kunden

Wie sci2tech vorgestern getwittert hat können im aktuellen Trunk (welches die Version 1.0.1.6 wird) Kunden nun selber SSL nutzen!

Das Team rund um das Projekt hat einen enormen Schub nach vorne gemacht und hören einfach nicht mehr auf. Hier eine Auflistung der umgesetzten Punkte seit dem trennen von ispCP.

What is new in beta 6:

Layout color switcher + layout Enhancement
Support for Apache mpm ITK
Support SSL for customers

All features since we started this project:

Auto-installer (including both tree builder and setup based on Dialog)
Debug Bar - (Development helper)
Dovecot support
Engine rewrite including the following new features:
1. Ability to turn off one or many services/servers such as Apache, bind9, Postfix...
2. Ability to setup DNS service (Bind9) as Master or Slave server
3. New logger
4. php.ini per user account (default), or per domain entity (vhost)

i-MSCP 1.0.1.5 BETA released

Es ist wieder soweit! i-MSCP gibt seine aktuelle Version 1.0.1.5 Beta frei. Das Projekt macht wirklich Riesen Schritte vorwärts und hält soweit was auf der Roadmap steht.

New features and enhancements in this release:

Auto-installer (including both tree builder and setup based on Dialog)

Leere Timeline’s bei ispCP und i-MSCP

Es hat doch eigentlich alles gut angefangen. Konkurrenz belebt ja gewöhnlich den Markt. Dass aber alles so in stocken kommt ist mir neu

Seit geraumer Zeit ist es leider sehr ruhig um die beiden OpenSource Projekte ispCP und dem Fork i-MSCP geworden. Schade!

i-MSCP läuft seit heute auf meinem FreeBSD (Dev-)Server. Ich habe i-MSCP soweit ich kann für FreeBSD angepasst und gleich in den Trunk des Projektes gepackt. Als nächstes versuche ich von FastCGI zu fcgid zu wechseln. Ein paar Fehler werden da sicher noch kommen.

ispCP bekommt einen Fork -> i-MSCP

Die beiden aktiven Programmierer NuXwin und Sci2tech verlassen ispCP und machen mit einem Fork weiter.

Hier die Meldung aus dem ispCP Forum:

Due to the result of our last team meeting (logs will come later), me (Nuxwin) and Daniel (Sci2tech) decided to stop the development and to create a fork of the ispCP Omega project. This decision was hard to take but unfortunately, we have not really the choice since the current situation is not viable for us. To resume, we have asked a new election for a Project Leader but some people (such as Zothos and Thomas) were simply refused without any valuable reasons.

We have decided to create a new project called 'i-MSCP' (Internet - Multi Servers Control Panel) that will be initialized from the last ispCP trunk state.

We have already some ispCP users that want join us. Of course, you are welcome to join the new team to try to provide the better Open Source control panel intended to personal and professional usage.

For now, we have decided to host the project on the sourceforge platform. You can join us by registering on sourceforge and by sending us a query to be part of our team. You should know that in our team, all people have same status ('developer'). We have already registered the domain names (i-mscp.net and i-mscp.com).
